PINACO for the third consecutive time sponsored the final round of the contest "Honda Eco Mileage Challenge 2020". The event took place at Hanoi National Convention Center on August 26, 2020; marking the 11-years journey to create a rewarding playground for those hearts longing to conquer the pinnacle of engineering and also journey of environmental protection messages that Honda Vietnam and PINACO always aim for.

Mr. Kesukei Tsuruzono, General Director of Honda Vietnam said, "Due to the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, the Honda EMC 2020 contest in Japan had to be canceled. But thanks to the efforts of participating teams, the organizers as well as thanks to the Vietnamese government's policy in controlling pandemics, today we are able to organize EMC 2020 in Vietnam, even breaking the record for the number of teams participating in the competition - the highest ever - 187 teams ".

The Honda EMC contest was first held in 1981 in Japan, aiming to save fuel and protect the environment. In 2010 Honda brought this competition to Vietnam, with the same criteria to create a playground where teams can unleash their creativity to compete and overcome challenges: "With 1 liter of gasoline, you can go how many kilometers?"

The final results of the contest are as follows:

1st Prize: SUPERCUB50 team – Hanoi University Of Industry – 906.880 km/l

2nd Prize: BK-HOPE team – Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology - 824.829 km/l

3th Prize: NTTU1 team – Nguyen Tat Thanh University - 543.843 km/l

4th Prize: THEWINDUTE team - University of Technology and Education Ho Chi Minh city - 509.453 km/l

5th Prize: UTE-FLY team - University of Technology and Education Ho Chi Minh city - 459.149 km/l

Best design: EAUT team – East Asia University of Technology

Best stylish: BK- AUTO team – Hanoi University of Science & Technology
